  BEST SUSHI IN PANAMA I have been eating sushi for over 40 years, I consider myself a sushi expert. I have eaten sushi all over the world and have been served my masters, a master is a sushi chef who was trianed in Japan, he would have to cook rice for five years, before he would be able to touch a single peice of fish. I have eaten in places that charge $350.00 per person and you do not get to pick what you would like to eat. (Ginza Sushiko) Beaverly Hills and that price is without beverage. In my four years in Latin America, I found the quilty of sushi bars and resturants poor. Most of them serve something that looks and tasts like supermarket sushi. Matsuei on the other hand gets the highest rating five stars for Latin America.. God bless I can eat sushi in Panama City. The 3 years that I lived in Costa Rica the only good sushi I could find was the sushi I made myself and only if I could find some good fish. In my youngers years I spent time fishing for a living and I do know fish and I do know the word fresh. You can tell when a fish was cought by looking into it's eye. Although the ceviche in Costa Rica in some places was the best in the world, something Panama has not figured out yet, that is, how to make ceviche.
